بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَنِ الرَّحِيم

In the name of Allah, the most Beneficent, the most Merciful

Mothers have been elevated to the highest rank in Islam, and serving your mother is not just a compassionate gesture but also rewarded in Jannah. A mother goes through innumerable challenges in order to give birth to a kid. She not only breastfeeds her child for nine months in her womb, but she also assumes responsibility for the child’s upbringing. When it is reported that an expectant mother’s body can disintegrate her bones in order to nourish the fetus in her womb, it is true.

In Islam, however, celebrating Mother’s Day is a novel concept that neither the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, nor his companions practised. It’s also a rip-off of the kuffaar, from whom we’ve been told to stay away. As a result, it is forbidden to celebrate it or to follow one’s mother in doing so, because the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said:

“There is no obedience if it involves sin; obedience is only in that which is right and proper (Narrated by al-Bukhaari, 7257; Muslim, 1840)”

The purpose of this scarf is to honor and cherish the special bond that exists between mothers and their children. Each design element will represent a different feature of the mother’s personality.

  1. Combination of flowers as the main motifs  represents women , love, appreciation, motherhood and tenderness. Mothers are always like this; there is tenderness in their firmness. Meanwhile, the specific meaning of each flowers are as followings;

Carnation: In general, carnations are positive symbols of love, fascination, and gratitude. However, they can also hold more unpleasant meanings such as symbolizing a mother’s love. While any flowers will make mom happy on Mother’s Day, carnations are the official flower of this celebration.

Its whiteness is to symbolize the truth, purity, and broad-charity of mother love; its fragrance, her memory, and her prayers. The carnation does not drop its petals but hugs them to its heart as it dies, and so, too, mothers hug their children to their hearts, their mother’s love never dying.

Iris: are a symbol of enduring faith and hope. While their blooms wither when cold weather arrives, shoots and colorful flowers reemerge each spring. During the dark days of winter, irises are a reminder that bright days lie ahead.

Due to this meaning, irises are great gifts for anyone going through a rough time. By sending an iris bouquet to an injured or grieving loved one, you remind them to keep hope that things will improve. And when they receive an iris, they won’t be able to help but smile.

Irises are always changing. They emerge each spring, bloom, and then die. And then they begin the cycle all over again. While dying may not seem like a good thing, irises are simply saving energy so they can re-emerge as beautiful flowers.

With this in mind, irises are a great way to remind someone that they can find something better. This means they’re a good gift for someone who went through a breakup or is seeking a new job.

Peony: The peony is rich in meaning in addition to its beauty and ability to withstand the test of time. The peony is typically offered on important occasions as a gesture of goodwill, best wishes, and delight, and is generally indicative of love, honour, happiness, wealth, romance, and beauty.

Lily: The most common meaning is purity and fertility. The sweet and innocent beauty of the lily flower has given it the association of fresh life and rebirth.

Abstract – Represents mother’s assertiveness. As a muslim mother, they strive to be an assertive and calm mother. Often parents wonder how they can create an environment in their homes and in their relationships with their children that will nurture their children’s ability to meet the challenges they will confront as they grow and move out into the world. The main three styles are called the permissive, aggressive, and assertive that need to be balanced in educating the children.

Bee: Fertile

In general, a bee in the home represents relationships. This could extend beyond a relationship with other people and could mean a relationship with everything in your direct experience of your reality. This includes your relationships with plants, food, air, water, animals, and of course, bees. But in our scarf, it represents the fertility of women.

The Prophet PBUH says: “Marry the kind and fertile women who will give birth to many children for I shall take pride in the great numbers of my ummah” (Nation). Islam gives strong and unequivocal emphasis to high fertility.

It is common for individuals to want children. According to the Qur’an,”money and offspring are adornments for the life of this world, which suggests that families want two things: financial security and children. Because “O, Lord, grant us spouses and kids who will be the comfort of our eyes,” one of the prayers of believers listed in the Qur’an is to seek a treatment for infertility.
